At The Hayloft we have close relationships with local food producers and suppliers to bring you the best of the seasons.

We take a fresh look at some traditional and new dishes, and supply the best the County has to offer in an honest and caring manner – without the inflated price tag.

Matt Burns, New Chef Patron at The Hayloft Restaurant, has taken over the running of the restaurant and looks to bring the best of the local environment and season to the plates of all customers.

Matt's background is Michelin star trained with Gordon Ramsay, the Ritz and worked in France for 4 years in 2 and 3 starred establishments, but he want's to bring the simplicity of great ingredients and flavour together in perfect harmony!

Every dish is prepared to order and served in an intimate but lively atmosphere by professional, friendly staff who want to make you feel at ease and enjoy your time with us, whether you’re a table of 2 or 20.

We have a ‘source local first’ policy with every dish we make, if we can get it locally, we will.

Lower food miles for everyone, fresher food for you. Where possible we cut out the middle man
to support local communities and farmers, keeping the money in the South West.
