The Mill House is situated on the North coast of Cornwall between the fishing villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle. Camelot, King Arthur's legendary castle is located in the very next valley.

Set in seven acres of it's own wooded valley and garden, the former 18th century corn mill now provides first-class food and board as a traditional Inn.

Halfway up the valley from the surfing beach at Trebarwith Strand you will find The Mill House nestling in an attractive woodland setting.

Schooners now holds a licence for wedding ceremonies, which is proving very popular.

The Falcon was established in 1798 when, as a lodging house, it provided accommodation for the captains of the merchant vessels that were trading or taking shelter in Bude Haven.

After the opening of the Bude Canal, the lodging house became the Falcon Crest Inn and in 1826 was further extended to become the Falcon Hotel.

These developments were made while under the patronage of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland who was one of the largest landowners in Bude at the time.
