Review this restaurant

Seek out Truro’s Indaba Fish, just off the beaten track yet still in the very centre of town, and you’ll be rewarded with a restaurant experience like no other.

This chichi hangout is, perhaps unsurprisingly, extremely popular with a young, arty crowd, its contemporary structure - inspired we can only imagine by the waves of the ocean and the portholes of boats – a-calling to the cool. But while its design is pretty awesome it’s the food that makes Indaba Fish stand out from the crowd.

Eager to showcase the delicious flavours of the Cornish coast, the kitchen sources the best from the boats as well as the fields (not to mention lobster and crab from the restaurant’s own tanks) for use in a light, seasonal menu of simple, unfussy but full of flavour dishes.

A daily specials board provides variety while champagne and oysters make for an upmarket pre-theatre treat.
