The Bean Inn was born in 2003 and its reputation has grown steadily throughout the years. As the name implies, The Loft was originally built as a Sail Loft over 100 Years ago. Even though over the years, there have been many minor structrual changes and alterations, it has still managed to retain all of its original charm.
The Loft is situated in the heart of the Old Artist Quarter of St Ives where you will find several little shops selling a variety of carvings, paintings etc.

The hundreds that eat here daily are testament to the great cooking here and the British love of a good old roast dinner. Always brilliantly cooked and hot and fresh there is a range of dishes to suit but the buffet style carvery is king. Leave room for pud, they're also amazing.
