Review this restaurant

Head Chef: Bryn Pearce

On a wet Wednesday in October one does not expect to see a full dining room in Mid Cornwall. Such is the popularity of the Pier House Hotel. A warm and inviting place where diners arrive as strangers and leave as friends.

Families are apparent and always welcome, the menu is designed for a six year old or sixty-six year old to leave happy and content.

A real buzz awaits visitors at the Harbour side Inn. The staff are always smiling, and why not. The place has great music, plasma screens, pool, tasty tucker from the adjoining hotel kitchen and a selection of 7 different real ales. Comfortable modern decor and a view of the Quay. All pubs should be this good.

Further Details

A warm and inviting dining room offers up a good selection of familiar but enticing dishes at very reasonable prices.

The pull here is the abundant catch of the day, only a darts throw from the fishing boats expect pearly white fish sweet and fresh from the sea. Smoked Chicken Pancake, T Bone Steak, Fillet Medallions all on offer for those non-fish lovers.

The Hotel is steeped in history the view is amazing and the attached Harbourside Inn bar and bistro offers simper fare.

On a sunny day the outside tables teem with visitors tucking into sandwich baskets and fish and chips.
