Review this restaurant

Proprietor: Anouska House

"Enjoy our chef's homemade Steak and Ale Pie in the Victorian Morning Room for Lunch, or perhaps homemade Lamb Shank in the Georgian Dining Room.

The menus are not cluttered with fashionable ""nouvelle cuisine froth"" but well considered, beautifully presented wholesome fare.

The Miners has the Cask Marque Accredited Ales Award.

Further Details

"""THE MINERS ARMS, CORNWALL'S BEST KEPT SECRET"".

A unique atmosphere envelopes you as soon as you enter... this very special place!

Real beams, very low ceilings and small rooms, but curiously, very light and marvel at the many wall paintings.

The checkered history of the pub could not have been scripted - a courthouse, hangman's billet, smugglers lair and, once-upon a time, house of ill repute! Beware, ghostly shadows are regularly spotted skulking throughout the building.

If you are looking for a real pub serving real food in old world comfort, then visit the ""Miners"" soon, before it's too late.... THE SECRET'S OUT!
