The Sportsmans Arms is located on the outskirts of Penzance, just off the A30 Lands End road, but within five minutes drive of the town centre. The pub has been taken on by Helen and Paul and a complete refurbishment of main bar, dining area and all facilities now offers a warm welcome, excellent real ales and a growing reputation for offering delicious homemade meals, using locally sourced produce where possible.

We try to have the kind of restaurant that we like to eat in ourselves; informal service, good food and good wine.
And how do we go about that?
Well the majority of the chef's ingredients are sourced locally (supporting our traditional agricultural economy, minimising food miles, ensuring absolute freshness). And just about everything, including the bread, is freshly made on site.
We have oysters from the Helford River; fish and shellfish caught by local dayboats; game from the estate; fruit and herbs from local farmers; meat and poultry from local suppliers; seasonal vegetables.
