Head Chef: Martin Perkins

It goes without saying that all the ingredients are fresh, local & seasonal. If you’re up early enough you can watch the daily catch being landed on the doorstep

The Mote has firmly established itself as one of North Cornwall’s must do eateries.

Book ahead & reserve the harbour view table on the second floor or the outside sea facing tables. Relax & enjoy Mote style!

Further Details

Our ethos is to serve food that is fresh, simple and local. Added to this we are aware of issues such as food miles and sustainability of fish stocks.

We are pleased to announce, we have some exciting new suppliers on board, bringing together some of Cornwall's Finest Produce.

Our meat is supplied by Brian Etherington, a much sought after local supplier - this Cornish business established in 1954, has developed a long and distinguished history. By concentrating on the basics; such as attention to detail and a quality product, Brian Etherington has built up a healthy reputation which is rewarded by a large and loyal customer base throughout Cornwall, Devon and the Isles of Scilly.

Our Bread comes from Chough Bakery who operate from the heart of Padstow Harbour.

The Honey cured Cornish coppa ham comes from Deli Farm Charcuterie, Deli in Delabole. Tel: 01840 214106 and is available to buy from their website.

All our fish comes from John Collins at Dennis Knight Fish Merchant in the Fish Cellars across the road and our Port Isaac crab comes from Just Shellfish also from the Fish Cellars.

Our Port Isaac lobsters and other line caught fish come straight off the local boats in the Harbour and into the kitchen.

All our vegetables come from West Country Veg. who use Cornish produce when possible.
