The Waterfront Restaurant is relatively world famous for its FREE SALAD BAR.
Operated since 1985 by self indulgent family who spend their free time roaming around the world trying different eating and drinking establishments which can be reflected in the menu.
We pride ourselves on giving you good food and fast friendly service in a warm atmosphere with an interesting and varied wine selection from the old and new worlds all at a reasonable price.

On balmy summer evenings you can enjoy your meal outside in the garden overlooking the beach in the sea air whilst watching the sunset.
When you go out for a meal in a restaurant, what makes for a perfect night out? Good food, obviously friendly service, of course, and a restaurant with a beautiful location and a warm atmosphere.
Well here at The Waterfront we have been doing our best to provide you with all the above and more.
We use only the finest Cornish steaks and meat from our butcher, who we have used for many years, we also use local suppliers for all our fish and vegetables.
WE have had the same chef since 1985 so he’s had plenty of practice at cooking food, to perfection of course.
Our staff are all good friends and this makes work fun which creates an enjoyable atmosphere in the restaurant.
When we took the restaurant over in 1985 we thought “ how can we be different to other restaurants in the area “ we came up with our FREE SALAD BAR and it seems to have been a popular idea.
With good food, friendly service and a great location right next to the beach we feel you will have found a place to tick all the boxes for a perfect night out, be it a romantic meal for two or a large family get together.
The restaurant is now in the second generation of the family and with the third waiting in the wings we aim to be around for a good few years to come, with your help we hope to make it happen.
