Theresa and her staff will be happy to welcome you to this little gem situated in the middle of rural Cubert.
We now serve hot dinners on Thurs thru to Sat evenings from 6pm to 9.30pm, ranging all the way from chili con carne to smoked salmon pasta and leek and chevre lasagne or mixed paella.
Our daytime menu runs from 9am to 4.30 pm with all day breakfasts, pasties and Cornish cream teas being the most popular foods.
Its recent fine refurbishment has been called the birthplace of the regeneration of Cubert, we hope you like it. Well known for its friendly ambiance and care of the customer, the Well has had a make over by local builder Adrian Jenkin.
Nothing has been taken from its former quaint look and enjoyable atmosphere.

The Well wishes to thank all those who come back year after year, including the children, the walkers and the dogs. And especially we thank our loyal locals who seem to treat The Well as home.
The Well is a hub of activity where you can also enjoy poetry evenings and art exhibitions or your own private party!
Our food and our gifts are sourced locally wherever possible. We recycle all that we can and our compost bins takes egg shells, tea bags and the like. We support the charity “Tearfund”.
The gift merchandise includes exquisite jewellery, hand made and photographic cards, pretty girls dresses, fine art work, hand knitted items, local woodcraft, key rings, books by a Cornish author, beautiful pottery, unusual gift wrap, lovely scarves, hats, toys, and our very own fudge and fairings.
There is a tiny garden out the back where dogs may be tied and smokers smoke. “Eric’s garden” is maintained as a space to eat and drink in peace, with a delightful water feature and climbing flora.

We like to see our customers enjoying themselves; do join us for one of our poetry evenings.
Entry is free and the usual evening menu is served with a smile. Each “performance” has a different theme with poets reading from Shakespeare to the Spike Milligan. We also try to perform hilarious skits without cracking up. Great fun.
