Situated in the heart of this traditional and historic fishing village,Mark and Hazel took over The Salamander Restaurant in 2007 after spending more than 20 years in the catering trade.
Mark has cooked for dignitaries such as Margaret Thatcher and Russian President Gorbachev and Hazel has managed functions for HRH Queen Elizabeth II and numerous foreign dignitaries and royalty.
Their creative and personal touch is evident with Mark managing the kitchen and Hazel the front of house.
The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming,the food excellent and the location is lovely, resulting in guests returning for more of the same!
