Built in 1894 to encourage wealthy visitors to the Lizard Peninsula the hotel sits proudly above the Atlantic and Housel Bay. Lunches are served with stunning views in the conservatory while dinner in the dining room is a more formal experience with linen and candlelight.

"Situated in a spectacular location at the Lizard in Cornwall, where the Western Approaches meet the Atlantic Ocean. A lovely sandy cove nestles beneath the Hotel, and the Cornish Coast Path runs through the gardens and cliff lands.
The Housel View Restaurant is used by hotel guests and locals alike for Pan Roasted Breast of Corn Fed Chicken placed on Chorizo & Coriander Potatoes, a Black Olive Tapenade & Chicken Fumé or Braised Lamb Shank on Olive Oil Crushed Potatoes with Red Onion Gravy also there is Steamed Fillets of Plaice on Stir Fried Baby Spinach with Mussels, White Wine and a touch of Cream and Roasted Saddle & Leg of Rabbit with a Broth of Seasonal Vegetables & Haricots Blanc.
