The Atlantic always has a warm welcome whatever the weather, Leigh and Adrian your hosts have transformed the Atlantic with a full refit, that coupled with the stunning view over the village of Porthleven and out to sea will soon back for more!!

Our menu is varied and bolstered by all sorts of specials, for example linguine with crab and red pepper, homemade Steak pie (not puff pastry over beef mess), Grilled sea bass, Moroccan mackerel; our chef is always trying new ideas.

We have a selection of interesting wines and some lovely local real ales from Skinners at Truro and St Austell.

My family has been in the pub trade for thirty years, although I did have another career for a few years before having the children. Adrian was an employee of Rover in Birmingham he made Freelander cars before coming into the family business as my Dad started to retire in 1997.

The Atlantic Inn is the first pub we have owned. Previously we were tenants to either breweries or pub companies; can you guess which we prefer? We have many ideas for the pub; hopefully, if we are careful, we will not destroy the wonderfully friendly and cozy atmosphere, which so drew us to this marvelous place.

November 2003 we installed a new all singing all dancing catering kitchen, in February 2004 we started the main renovation of the bar and restaurant, we tried to keep all changes sympathetic to the pubs unique atmosphere and we have had lots of new visitors with the improved facilities e.g. the light and airier new restaurant, disabled access and W.C air conditioning and air cleaning machines.

We have very lively Saturday night entertainment. During the week we hold pub quizzes and darts, as our regular customers are mainly local people you can get a real sense of The Cornish.

On a clear day sat on our terrace you can have uninterrupted views from The Lizard to Mousehole. We feel extremely lucky to live in such a beautiful place, come and see us soon.
