Kota Kai occupies the whole of the top floor of Celtic House and has unbeatable views across Porthleven harbour and beyond.
Almost every table in the restaurant will benefit from these views as the tables run alongside the many windows at the front of the building.
Diners at the top of the restaurant have the option of watching their food being prepared since the kitchen at Kota Kai is open.
Kota Kai will be open from 11.30am every day, and will stay open throughout the afternoon to cater for those looking for a delicious cup of coffee, healthy smoothie, naughty cake or cocktail, or Mini Kai and a glass of wine

Alongside the bar/kitchen is a kid's room where Kids can play safely with a selection of toys, puzzles and games. Kids TV will also be played.
To keep others entertained, there is a skittle alley in another room with lounge seating plus a lovely Film Room with large screen and more lounge seating – classic films will be played once or twice a week. All areas can be hired out for parties.
Sunday lunch diners will be entertained by live Jazz, and there will be live music and DJ nights at regular intervals, particularly over the Christmas Season.
We have 3 function rooms available to hire for Christmas Parties, Weddings, Birthdays or any other occasion.

Menu Summary:
The food is simpler than at Kota, but all great quality using local ingredients. Old favorites such as pasta and risotto dishes, mussels, fishcakes, Asian curries and simple grilled fish will run alongside a selection of ‘mini Kai’, i.e. small plates such as salt & pepper squid, beef carpaccio, oysters, piri piri prawns and potted crab.
