All of our food is made to order using locally sourced ingredients where possible.
Our lunch menu is served from 12 midday to 6pm and features an array of fantastic sandwiches, pizzas, and classics.

We serve our evening menu from 6pm with last orders at 9.30pm. To take a closer look at the selection of delicious wood-fired pizzas, pastas, Amélies specials, and of course, the Bruneski Burger.

All the wine at Amélies are carefully selected wines designed to either go hand in hand with the menu of be enjoyed out on the terrace with the stunning surrounds of Porthleven Harbour.

We serve all your favourite coffees throughout the day at Amélies from Americanos to cappuccinos. Each coffee is lovingly made by train baristas so you won't be disappointed.

Amélies at The Smokehouse opened on the harbourside in Porthleven, Cornwall in late March 2010. The old Smokehouse building was refurbished using environmentally-sensitive materials to create a new restaurant serving the best locally-sourced produce.
In the weeks leading up to the launch a raffle was held, raising nearly £2,000 for nearby charity ShelterBox.

Amélies is now a firm favourite in the fishing village, rapidly gaining a reputation for its regular and varied music nights.

Head Chef: Bruno Helebrandt
Bruno, who is originally from Slovakia, brings his passion and unrelenting aim to utilise the ‘Best of the West’.

Bruno trained under the famous Slovakian Chef Richard Sykora, well known throughout Europe for his expertise.
After traveling throughout Britain, Bruno settled in Cornwall because he feels it is where food is at it’s most exciting and accessible.

Both Amélies at The Smokehouse and sister company Gourmet Picnics share the same ethos which runs through everything we do. Stunning simple food, made from the freshest ingredients, sourced from the best local suppliers, designed to create one memorable moment.

Our team reinforces this ethos and is proud to work at Amélies. As equally proud as we are about our food, we are also passionate about our green credentials.

Right from the building of Amélies we have strived to create an environmentally sensitive business model.

We are in the process of sponsoring a local fisherman, so that not only do we eliminate food miles, we can serve the freshest fish while knowing exactly where our seafood has come from.

Investing in tables made from re-claimed wood sourced from all over the Westcountry, all the napkins we use are recycled, and even our fuel for our wood fired oven is from a sustainable forest.
