Review this restaurant

Proprietor: Alice Marston

Head Chef: Emily Hewson

Miss Peapod's is situated within Jubilee Wharf, a project that champions sustainability. The furniture, china, even the floor are recycled.

Wonderful water views of the Fal and an eclectic daily changing menu of internationally influenced dishes using the best of everything. Brilliant for families.

The food is the star with fresh daily changing options like wraps, salads, burritos, soups, cakes, it’s a breakfast and lunch spot for locals, a lively evening venue for music and food weekends. Its a great family place for Sunday Lunch.

A winning combination in the heart of Penryn's revitalised waterfront.
We are a small independent cafe based at the award winning jubilee wharf, in Penryn.

We have been built using pioneering techniques of eco-development. We have wind turbines, solar panels and super insulation this means our walls are at least 2 foot thick which is useful for when we have D.J’s and bands in the evenings!

Miss Peapods also hosts mega music events with a extremely varied list of visiting bands catering for all genre's of music see the link below of the latest up and coming play list

Further Details

Most of our meat is organic, and all is local, mainly from Rosuick Farm, situated on the Lizard. Farmed by the same family for over 600 years. They know their stuff

Our eggs are from Boswin Farm, Penryn. Organic free range. Fed a special diet of linseed oil rich in Omega 3. A special breed, Plymouth Black wings, these people have an eye for the birds

Our Bread is made in Helston by the lovely Vicky, who gets up every morning at 3am just for you. Organic, of course, with a mix of multi-grains

We are supplied by Toppenrose diary with their distinctive mould ripened cheese

Elderflower and apple juices come from Cornish Orchards. Famous for their award winning produce

Our ice-cream and sorbets are from Callestick Farm and Moomaid of Zennor. They use the freshest milk and cream, practise traditional farming methods for sustainablity and a healthy biodiversity

Your coffee is from another family firm, Origin Coffee, in Constantine. Importing fair trade, organic, rain forest alliance beans from Papua New Guinea. How right on is that? What they don’t know about coffee, ain’t worth knowing. We bring their expertise, and more importantly their caffeine, to you
