Once you taste the signature dish of Chef Vito you will fall under the Hayloft's charm. Local fresh grilled sirloin steak with fresh scallops and prawns with Madeira Sauce. It's a show stopper along with the Fillet Steak in Barolo Wine . Excellent cooking in a charming converted barn that has a good local following enticed by the good food and the family welcome. | Chef Vito has been around this neck of the woods for some time helping build local reputations at plenty of popular North Cornwall eateries he finally brings his abundant talent to his own restaurant just outside of Liskeard. With it's enviable position at the side of the busy A38 its not hard to see why the parking lot is often jammed to bursting.
The family business is a rarity in that both locals and plenty of tourists have found it hard too beat. The upstairs areas are popular with groups sectioned as they are and ideal for privacy. The downstairs area with its cosy lounge and bar is warm and inviting. A good selection of beer and wine and a seasonally changing menu including lots of local meat and seafood. The chef uses what best locally and the food is always freshly cooked.
An excellent restaurant for lovers of Italian and just well cooked meat and seafood.

The Hayloft Restaurant is an ideal venue for wedding breakfasts, birthday parties, family get togethers, in fact any type of formal or informal private function. Formerly Lower Clicker Farm, the building and stables date back to the nineteenth century and are full of character and history.
