A unique atmosphere envelopes you as soon as you enter... this very special place ! , real beams, very low ceiling and small rooms, but curiously very light and marvel at the many wall paintings. The checkered history of the pub could not have been scripted, a courthouse, hangman's billet, smugglers lair and once - upon a time house of ill repute, beware ghostly shadows are regularly spotted skulking throughout the building.
