A good stop whatever the season the Cornish Arms is a very old traditional public house serving good local food simply prepared, which now includes a full Thai Menu and Takeaway. The ambiance is cosy and the welcom warm. Plenty of dining options for young and old alike. The en-suite accommodation gets very busy in the summer with lots of repeat visitors from all over the world. The outside seating with distant views of the Atlantic make a summertime pint most agreeable. An emphasis on local sourcing is easy when you are a stones throw from the Port Isaac fishermen. The John Dory with Prawns and cream sauce is a perennial favourite.
